Just in time for summer break, there’s a new Chuggington DVD for your kids to enjoy!
In “Wilson And The Ice Cream Fair,” the Chuggington trainees are embarking on new adventures, this time to an ice cream fair, the mayor’s banquet, and the ice caves! Wilson is the main character, but Brewster, Koko, Old Puffer Pete, and Mtambo make an appearance on the DVD, as well. By following along, your kids will learn lessons about cooperation, bravery, and responsibility.
The DVD is about sixty minutes long and was released by Anchor Bay Entertainment, the company that distributed Thomas & Friends videos up until a few years ago. This is the seventh Chuggington DVD they’ve released. Other releases include “Let’s Ride The Rails” and “Traintastic Adventures.” In addition to the Chuggington DVDs, Anchor Bay Entertainment also distributes childhood favorites like Nick Jr’s Wubbzy and the storybook-based Eloise DVDs.
“Wilson And The Ice Cream Fair” is available in DVD stores nationwide and can be purchased online. If you want to know more before you buy it, you can even watch the trailer!
Chuggington has once again made tracks with the newest DVD release, Wilson and the Ice Cream Fair! This DVD recently released on May 15, just in time for summer!
In the episodes on this new DVD, Wilson is assigned to deliver a massive amount of ice cream to the ice cream fair. He must also deliver the ice cream without all of it melting! He also assists Frostini in creating a new flavor of ice cream for the mayor.
Wilson continues on his adventures by visiting the ice cream factory with friends Brewster and Koko. Old Puffer Pete and young trainee Mtambo also assist Wilson in his expeditions. Wilson journeys to the ice caves, and even helps with a rescue at Safari Park!
Chuggington is geared towards ages 2-7. Important life lessons can be learned from these wonderful DVDs, including responsibility, cooperation, friendship, and fun.
Meet Wilson, Brewster and Koko, three railway locomotives, from the fictional town of Chuggington. These three fancy locomotives share important values with children such as friendship, honesty, and listening. Children also learn to resolve conflicts, be persistent, and finish tasks that they began. These episodes are designed to teach important social-emotional skills in a way that helps preschoolers prepare for their beginning years of childhood. Honestly, with all of the wonderful children’s shows out there, you can’t help but be impressed with this one.
Although the show is computer generated, you know that you are getting a high quality show from the same creative team that helped to produce Bob the Builder. The show is produced by Ludorum plc, a company that was founded in 2006 by Charlie Caminada, Rob Lawes, and Dick Rothkopf. Rothkopf was the previous chairman of Learning Curve International, a company which designed and manufactured educational toys for children.
What’s most impressive about this series is the unique toys that are out there on the market. I have to admit, when I was a child, I absolutely adored trains. You can physically move the trains anywhere, which helps to develop children’s kinesthetic skills. You can use your imagination to create a story where the train saves the day. Your child will truly benefit from this toy. There are so many options on this website. Check it out, we offer some pretty cool trains! Not to mention games, engines, and much more, perfect for any time of the year. In the words of the three “Trainees,” “Wheels to the Rails!”
